Fixed Price Service
Our Bosch Service garage offers three levels of servicing for your vehicle:
Bronze Service - £89
For well-maintained, low-mileage vehicles - This service covers 31 checks including an oil and filter change and a general health check of the main components on your car:
- Check for any body defects
- Check operation of lights
- Check washers and wipers
- Check engine oil
- Drain and refill with engine oil
- Fit new sump plug washer (where fitted)
- Fit new engine oil filter
- Check brake pipes and lines
- Check exhaust system
- Inspect tyres and set pressures
- Report on tyre tread depth
- Visually check cooling system for leaks
- Check anti-freeze content
- Check drive belts (excludes cam belt)
- Check all fluid levels
- Check battery condition
- Visually check front brake pads and discs
Silver Service - £174.99
Every 12,000 miles or 12 months - A comprehensive service with 49 checks. It includes the replacement of engine oil, oil filter and air filter and an extensive range of checks to ensure optimum running of your vehicle.
- Includes all Bronze Service points plus:
- Check suspension dampers
- Add screen wash and top up fluids (excluding anti-freeze)
- Fit new air filter
- Fit new spark plugs (petrol only)
Gold Service - £234.99
Every 24,000 miles or 24 months - A comprehensive service covering everything included in the Silver Service and also items that are regularly recommended for replacement every 2 years.
- Includes all Bronze & Silver Service points plus:
- Check rear brake pads/shoes
- Check and adjust handbrake operation
- Check and adjust clutch cable freeplay (where applicable)
- Pressure check cooling system
- Check and adjust idle speed (where applicable)
- Fit new fuel filter (where fitted)
- Check air con system - report only
- Check emissions - report only
- Carry out road test*
* A short road test may not identify some intermittent faults.
Academy's Fixed Price Servicing is only available on out-of-warranty vehicles and is not a replacement for the manufacturers service.
The above descriptions are only recommendations based on general circumstances. On receiving your vehicle in the workshop our Bosch Service technician may advise you that a variation on your selected service is necessary. Moreover if you are unsure that you have selected the correct service we would advise that you speak to us prior to your booking.
If your vehicle is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty we would recommend that you have it serviced in line with the manufacturer’s specified service. Provided your vehicle is serviced and maintained in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions during the manufacturer’s warranty period, you have the right to have the work undertaken by an independent garage without affecting your warranty. We ensure your vehicle is serviced in accordance with their instructions.
